ABOUT FOSTERING

Have you fostered animals before?
Fecal Matter of the foster animal should be picked up and thrown away immediately to avoid potential worm exposure to other animals and small children in the yard. Do you agree to do so?
Fosters require vet visits to one of our HART approved veterinarians, are you able to get a foster dog to the vet during normal business hours?
Can you accept the fact that some animals will not survive or may have to be euthanized and that this decision is up to HART
HART has adoption events at various locations around the greater Cincinnati area, these generally last two to three hours. Are you willing to bring a foster to the event if you have one ready for adoption at that time?
Once a dog is posted up for adoption you will get applications of interested adopters. Do you agree to make contact with any application you receive no later than 48 hours from receiving the application?
Do you understand that anyone interested in adopting your foster animals including yourself must go through the standard adoption process and approval of candidates and placement of animals is up to HART Of course we welcome your referrals

I understand that although HART takes reasonable care to screen animals for foster care placement, it makes no guarantee relating to the animals health, behavior, or actions. I understand that I receive foster care animals at my own risk and can reject or return any animals for which HART has asked me to provide care. I indemnify and hold HART and the volunteers and board members of HART free and harmless from all liability arising out of any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, action, judgement of every kind and description which may occur to or be suffered by me, members, of my household, or any third parties by reason of activities arising out of this agreement:
