This year, we are doing something different to both honor the memory of a beloved pet, family member or friend, and raise money for the HART animals.
In the past, “Rainbow Bridge Memorials” cost $50 each. This year, if you would like to sponsor a memorial, we are asking that you donate a new item, or a themed gift basket, or even a gift card in their memory for our raffles and silent auctions being held that evening!
We will attach a card to your donation with the pet's or person's picture and a short note, e.g., "Donated in memory of our kitty, Louie, a beloved family member for over 15 years." We will also include the picture on the video screen presentation that night and in the printed event program.
We ask that your item/gift basket/gift card donations each be at least a $35 value per memorial. Be creative! Our guests look forward to the variety of items and gift baskets we offer at this annual event, and they eagerly bid to take home their favorites and support HART and the work we do!
We will be happy to arrange pick-up/drop-off of your item and gift basket donations – please let us know by calling/texting Brenda Porter at (740) 703-8798. Donated gift cards may be used in themed gift baskets our volunteers are making with other donated items – suggestions include (but certainly not limited to!) restaurants, gasoline, and Visa gift cards to be used in family outing and couples’ “getaway packages.”
